Developed a real-time automated drilling rig state algorithm to
categorize drilling operations into 20 different rig states using
WITSML data and contextual data. The algorithm has so far
processed over 17000 wells and counting. It is developed in Java
and deployed to run on AWS Lambda in real-time.
Feeds most apps on Corva by providing a situational awareness of
the ongoing operation. Apps rely on this information for their
calculations.
